Top 100 Quality Leadership Companies in 2008

Top 100 Quality Leadership Companies in 2007

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., March, 2007 – Taber Bushnell, a Lake Air Company, has been included by Quality magazine on their list of the “Quality Leadership 100” in the March 2007 edition, for a second year in a row. More than 800 manufacturers were surveyed on criteria such as scrap and rework as a percentage of sales; warranty costs as a percentage of sales; rejected parts per million shipped and contribution of quality to profitability; and shareholder value.

Companies also were evaluated on the number of quality programs in place; registration to various standards; percentage of employees dedicated to quality responsibilities; average number of monthly hours employees receive quality training; and the role quality professionals play in the acquisition of test, measurement and inspection tools, software and services.

Walker Art Center

The Week - May 13, 2005 - The Midwest's Premier contemporary art center just doubled in size, said John King in the San Fransisco Chronicle. The 130,000-square-foot, $67.5 million addition to the Walker Art Center, by Swiss architectural firm Herzog and de Meuron, offers "complex pleasures." A giant cube nonchalantly hangs in the air above the sidewalk.
